Start with the message Android shows
“App not installed” can mean several things. First confirm that the APK finished downloading, that your phone has enough storage and that it meets the package’s declared Android requirement. Then follow the check that matches your error.

Check the file, storage and compatibility
Open Downloads and look for a completed .apk file. A partially saved file or a web page with an APK-like name will not install correctly. The P77 APK checked here is 20,351,474 bytes, version 1.4.9.
- Confirm that the browser has finished saving the download.
- Check free storage in Android Settings. Installation needs additional space beyond the APK file itself.
- Check Android’s version under your phone’s About or Software information settings. The package declares Android 7.0 as its minimum.
- If the file is incomplete, remove only that incomplete download and try again on a stable connection.
If a complete file still fails, compare its details with the APK information. The minimum Android version alone does not establish compatibility with every phone.
Check for an update or package conflict
Android will not accept an in-place update when package or signing information is incompatible with an existing installation. A lower version can also be rejected. If the message mentions a conflict, do not repeatedly force the same installation.
Find the existing app in Android Settings and record its version. Make sure you can recover your account before changing the installation. Avoid clearing app data or uninstalling as a first troubleshooting step, because local information may be lost.
Use the update instructions and contact support if the existing package cannot be identified. The P77 APK uses package name com.musgoqp.as603.
Review the installation source permission
On recent Android versions, permission to install an APK is normally assigned to the app opening it, such as your browser or file manager. Follow the settings shortcut shown by Android and check which source you are authorising.
Only allow the intended source after reviewing the file. Return to the installer afterwards. You can turn that permission off once installation is complete. Menu names vary by manufacturer and Android release.
Do not bypass a security warning
A harmful-app or security warning is not the same as a missing installation permission. Keep Play Protect enabled, record the warning and check the download source. Do not disable device protection or install an unknown “fixer” app to continue.
